Lord Mayor Erias has returned from Nairobi where he had been hospitalized for close to two weeks.
“Overly heartened and excited to be back home in a relatively good health. Can’t thank the Lord enough for the precious gift of life,” wrote on his Facebook page on Wednesday.
He thanked his supporters for “your wonderful messages of hope, empathy and prayers lifted my spirit several folds”.
He was taken to hospital after persistent chest pain and other ailments.
Despite attending several medical facilities in Kampala including Lubaga Hospital, Platinum Hospital, Case Hospital, Norvic Hospital among others, the Lord Mayor was referred to Nairobi Hospital for further management.
