The Kabaka, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi is set to deliver a key speech on Saturday May 29, as he opens a conference of Buganda Bumu North American Convention (BBNAC).
Saturday’s address will be the third appearance of the Kabaka since April 13 when he appeared unwell at his birthday. Kabaka also appeared at Capital Shoppers on April 15 when he reportedly went shopping and at his palace when he was immunized of Covid19 on April 16.
Kabaka’s appearance is also expected to re-assure his subjects about his health status.
The kingdom’s minister of Local government and foreign affairs Mr. Joseph Kawuki has said that the Kabaka will use the zoom technology to address his subjects, on Friday at 5pm, Ugandan time.
But the meeting that will be convening in Cicago, US starts on Friday with a youth conference.
On Sunday, Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga will address the conference and later on close it.
