Former State minister for Investment and Privatisation Evelyne Anite has said she is confident President Museveni will re-appoint her as Minister because she is ‘an incorruptible” woman.

“When the president was appointing me, he told me he knew I was incorruptible. He is happy with my job. Tha’ts why I have survived for five years,” Anite said “If we get fired, then maybe witchcraft is real”.

She was speaking at a farewell party organised to bid farewell to the outgoing Uganda Investment Authority (UIA) board.

The new seven-member board will be chaired by Morris Rwakakamba, journalist Angelo Izama and former Buliisa Womana MP Beatrice Mpairwe among others. The Director general of UIA is Robert Mukiza.
