KAMPALA-UGANDA/ NEWSDAY: Makindye East Member of Parliament Allan Ssewanyana has unleashed his anger after missing out on appointment to the shadow cabinet.

He said he was not moved that he was not part of the cabinet that after all it is a shadow- “kisiikirizze”. Ssewanyana said he will continue with his mission.

“I will continue to fight for sports development in this country whether shadow or not” Ssewanyana said on his Facebook.

“Mind you I’m now fighting to be a full minister in the next government not a shadow so congs. The struggle continues,” he stated.

But he was quickly attacked by social media users who acussed him of speaking with envy and hate against the National Unity Platform (NUP) that helped him to return to Parliament for the second time.

“NUP helped you but now you are mocking them. You can join Museveni Junta and be full minister. Solo Kayemba has done for Uganda sports than you,” Matt Trevor Frank commented.

“As you sound hurted, hahaha you think every good opportunity will be by your side always, just know the party also regrets why they made you their flag bearer because your are ablue skin in a red attire,” Sula commented. 

On Friday, Leader of Opposition Mathias Mpuuga named a 30 member shadow cabinet, a mix of app opposition members and their leaning independents.
