The ex- Ministry of Public Service principal accountant Christopher Obey has died from Mulago referral hospital, according to Frank Baine the Prisons spokesperson.
He died on Friday of pneumonia from which he suffered for a long time.
Together with former Director of Research and Development, Stephen Kiwanuka Kunsa and Jimmy Lwamafa, the former permanent secretary, Obey has been serving a 10 year jail term after conviction in a money scam that involved Shs.88.2bn.
