KAMPALA-UGANDA/NEWSDAY: Two people are dead as families in Kamwokya count loses after a fire that ravaged houses Thursday evening.

“So far, two deaths of a male adult and a female adult have been confirmed. Their identities are yet to be known. A number of injuries have been registered,” deputy police spokesperson for Kampala metropolitan Luke Owoyesigyire told Newsday.

The Police Fire Prevention and Rescue Services battled  the fire outbreak in Kyamuka Zone, Kamwokya that started at around 7pm, but were initially impeded by access to the fire scene.
