MITOOMA-UGANDA/ NEWSDAY: The Deputy Speaker for Mitooma district council Greenford Mucunguzi has said his financial standing is solid and there is no risk for him to sell his property as alleged in some media outlets.

He said that reports a bank was selling his properties over a Shs. 3.8m were malicious being peddled by his political opponents to tarnish his name.

“My multi million estate is intact and no one can sell it. I intend to sue court brokers of Kakiika cell Kamukuzi ward Kamukuzi division Mbarara city for trespass and defamation since I am in good terms with the banks,” Mucunguzi said.

He denied he was under fire for failing to pay a two year bad loan from the financial institution.
