Three people are feared dead after a terrorist attack at a pork joint in Komamboga outside the capital.

But the Police at KMP has not confirmed the number. It said they responded quickly to the blast which occurred on the 23.10.2021, at around 9 pm, at Digida eating point, in Kawempe Division, Kampala.

“One person has been fatally wounded and 7 others rushed to Mulago National Referral hospital, with serious injuries,” police spokesperson Fred Enanga said.

On October 14, the United Kingdom (UK) warned of an imminent terror attack in Uganda. A major terror attack July 11, 2010 hit Uganda after a militant Islamist group, Al-Shabab, killed over 75 people in a Kampala twin-bombing as hundreds watched a football World Cup final match.
