KAMPALA-UGANDA/NEWSDAY: Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Anita Among has opened up about the health of her boss Jacob Oulanya-saying he is unwell, sick and out of the country.
“I wish to inform the Country that the Speaker of Parliament, Rt Hon. Jacob Oulanyah has been unwell for the last two weeks. During that period he was receiving medical attention from Mulago National Referral Hospital,” Among stated in several threads via her tweeter account.
She asserted that Medical experts at Mulago in consultation with his personal doctors, decided to refer Mr Oulanyah for further specialised medical attention out of the country.
“Subsequently on Friday, 4th February 2022, the Rt Hon. Oulanyah travelled out of the country. We pray for his speedy and complete recovery,” Among tweeted.
There has not been no official account on the health of Mr Oulanyah but Newsday broke the story he had been flown out to Seattle in the United Stated on a chartered Uganda Airlines plane where he was diagnosed with stage four cancer.
