SEATTLE-UNITED STATES/NEWSDAY: Deputy speaker Anita Among has said her ailing boss Jacob Oulanya needs prayers moments  after she visited him in a hospital in Seattle.

Among however said Oulanya was responding to medication.

“Together with close friends, His Lordship Alphonse Owiny Dollo (Chief Justice), Hon.Nobert Mao (Democratic party president) and Health Minister Jane Ruth Aceng; I have visited Rt Hon Speaker Jacob Oulanyah at his Hospital Bed in Seattle” Among said in a tweet.

She said Oulanya is receiving and “responding to treatment” under the close attention of his Doctors.

 
“Let us keep him in prayers for a speedy and complete recovery. I urge the public to respect his privacy and that of the family,”Among tweeted on Friday evening.
Oulanya was taken to the hospital in Seattle on a charted Uganda airlines on February 4 2022. Reports indicate he is suffering from Colon related cancer which has now been graded as stage four
