KAMPALA-UGANDA/NEWSDAY: Police said Monday they would summon National Unity Platform (NUP) principal, Bobi Wine, Mr Nathan Okori the father of Oulanya and minister for ICT and national guidance, Chris Baryomunsi to explain the poison allegations in the death of Speaker Jacob Oulanya.

Others are  the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) vice chairman for central Uganda, Godfrey Kiwanda, and a number of Members of Parlimant over claims that the deceased Speaker of the 11th Parliament Jacob Oulanyah was poisoned.

The MPs include Dokolo South MP Felix Okot Ogong, Kilak South MP Gilbert Olanya, Northern Uganda based musician Bosmic Otim.
 Fred Enanga the police spokesperson told reporters in Naguru, Kampala that a file of offensive communication had been prepared at CID headquarters in Kibuli.
“Medical records obtained, indicated there was no presence of poison in his (Oulanyah’s) blood system. We want them to provide us with a chain of evidence regarding the poisoning as they allege. The file of offensive communication is ongoing at CID headquarters in Kibuli,” Enanga said.
Oulanya was pronounced dead on March 20. He died from a cancer hospital in Seattle. He was buried on April 8, 2022.
