Rwanda Air involved in accident at Entebe Airport

ENTEBE-UGANDA/NEWSDAY: At least 100 passengers aboard RwandAir survived on Wednesday morning when their aircraft skidded off a run away at Entebe International Airport.

Skidding off in Aviation is in other wards called a runway excursion which means an aircraft departs the runway in use during the take-off or landing run.

RwandAir confirmed the incident in a statement on Wednesday.

“Flight WB464 landing at Entebe International Airport early this morning, was involved in a runway excursion as a result of bad weather,” the stamen reads adding “All passengers and crew deplaned safely with no reported injuries.”
