KAKUMIRO-UGANDA/NEWSDAY; Men reportedly moving in a drone have raided a hospital and grabbed a patient, a one Constance Kyasimiire- raped and killed her.
The 38-year-old mother of six and resident of Kiryabukurura village, Kikwaya Sub County was attending to her two sick children who were admitted at the health facility on Tuesday before she was reportedly kidnapped by unknown people who were seen reportedly seen moving in a drone van.
The horrific incident occurred at Kakindo Health Centre IV- in Kakumiro and the health centre in-charge has said the security personnel at the health facility got concerned after noticing that Kyasimiire had gone missing for hours and her children were crying.
The body of Kyasimiire was found buried near the home of a 28-year-old man identified as Evaristo Kisakye and in this home, police, after a search, reportedly recovered clothes belonging to the victim.
Kisakye has been arrested and taken to police for questioning.
Witnesses, in non corroborated accounts by Newsday, said Kisakye was moving with others in a van-the drone-notoriously famed for kidnaps, torture or murders.
Kyesimiire’s political affiliation was not readily established but drones have in the past targeted opposition supporters and leaders.
