Two men charged with impersonating as State House Anti corruption staff

KAMPALA-UGANDA/NEWSDAY; Two men, Turyarugayo Edward aka Charles Ocom and Babibaasa Frankline aka Maj. Muhindo have been arrested and arraigned in court over allegations they impersonated as staff of the State House ANnti Courruption Unit- SH-ACU.

The men were presented before Mwanga II Chief Magistrate and charged with impersonation, Forgery and Uttering False Documents.

They were remanded until July 27, 2022.

Prosecution alleged that the accused allegedly impersonated as officers of State House Anti-Corruption Unit, forging documents purporting to be originating from the Unit’s Head Brig. Gen. Henry Isoke to different district leaders with the intention to defraud.
