KAMPALA-UGANDA/NEWSDAY: A senior Uganda Police Force officer has shot dead a businessman with whom they argued  after an accident.

The suspect a police officer attached to the ICT department at Kawempe, a one Lameka Owor has already been put in custody, according to Luke Oweyesigire,the deputy police spokesperson, Kampala metropolitan.
It is said Owor shot dead a 29-year old, Ssebyala Brian, 29, a resident of Nsawo Namugongo at Kito A Zone in Kirinya parish Bweyogerere division Kira municipality in wakiso district on Sunday.
Police files are quoting the deceased’s friend, Senoga Reagan as saying that the late Ssebyala was standing besides his car a Toyota VISTA number UAK 398D when the suspect who was driving a Toyota Premeo UBE 179F knocked the front part of deceased’s car.
 “On asking the suspect why he knocked, the suspect told the deceased that he can even shoot him and the suspect drew a  pistol while inside his car and shot at the deceased”, Ssenoga told police.
Ssenoga made an alarm but Owor sped away.  Together with others, Ssenoga rushed Ssebyala to Ggwarriro health centre where he was announced dead in arrival.
