KAMPALA-UGANDA/NEWSDAY: Junior Lands Minister Persis Namuganda has alleged President Museveni has ordered investigations against Speaker Anita Annet Among.
Namuganza who is being threatened with censure from her ministerial post over alleged misconduct told NBS TV that her woes are being ignited by Among. But she said “I also intend to move a motion against Among, Magogo marriage”
Namuganza said she has already reported the matter to President who has ordered the police’s CID Department to investigatate Among.
She explained her witch-hunt begins with what she called a fraudulent marriage between Among and her husband Magogo.
Namuganza without giving name said her husband, a civil marriage registrar became a target of Among when he attempted to cancel Among and Magogo “fraudulent marriage.”
“These issues the way they have been happening, of course the Speaker has personal interest. She procured a fraudulent marriage with the so called husband. They went, attacked my husband…” Namuganza said.
She said that Among and Magogo never attended their wedding but instead sent their security teams to sign the papers.
