KIBULI-UGANDA: Detectives at Kibuli are said to have widened investigations into alleged them of Office of Prime Minister items meant for vulnerable persons.
A top detective has told Newsday  that following the arrest of relatives of a minister for Karamoja, the flashlight is now turning to another female state minister who hails from Karamoja region.
It is alleged that the said minister could have diverted some beans, iron sheets and other construction material to her own use.
The whistleblower has also claimed that some of the items could be hidden in the said Minister’s village.
Although the whistleblower has promised to unveil pictures of the said house, OPM PS Keith Muhakanizi today read a riot act to all concerned officials, promising to unearth all dirt.
“That woman owns lots of property. Her children study from abroad, yet she can’t help us in the village. We shall take the Police to where the iron sheets are hidden,” the whistleblower later told our correspondent.
Below in Muhakanizi press release.
