KAMPALA-UGANDA/NEWSDAY: The Uganda Police Force on Sunday announced it had positively identified the planners and killers of city Lawyer Mukisa Ronnie who was shot dead at him home early this week.

Four of these have already been taken to custody.

The spokesperson of the Police, Fred Enanga in a statement released on Sunday said a joint security force had already cornered four planners and killers of Mr. Mukisa Ronnie.

He said that a team of officers from the Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence (CMI) and Crime Intelligence has been investigating the violent murder of 45year- old Mukisa Ronnie on May 30, 2023.

Mukisa was an advocate with IBC Advocates. He was killed at his home in Makindye Ssabagabo, Wakiso District.

“We made a breakthrough and arrested four key suspects, who were involved in the planning and killing of the lawyer. Since the tragic murder, our joint task team has worked tirelessly to establish the killers,” Enanga said.

Enanga is expected to name the suspects in a press conference on Monday.
