Killers and planners of City Lawyer Mukisa identified, arrested

KAMPALA-UGANDA/NEWSDAY: The Uganda Police Force on Monday revealed how the mission to kill city lawyer Mukisa was accomplished.
The force said the mission involved it’s senior officer at the rank of a Superintendent of police and a military deserter as well as Mukisa’s friends among them a woman.
In a statement, police said the demised lawyer and the suspects were business associates who developed a conflict after a USD 1M ( Shs 3,724,009,000) that Mukisa allegedly swindled.
Two of the suspects have been named as Karedou Robert and his wife Nalwoga Brenda, friends to Mukisa.
The two allegedly hired their friend in the police police force, SP Irama Vincent and the trio hired Cpl Anyuse Max, as a hit man, police said.
“On the fateful day of 30.05.2023, the soldier got a gun, that he deserted with from the DRC, and trailed the victim, in his Subaru legacy UBJ 006K, dark blue, up to his home in Kitoko-Birongo, Ndejje Division,” police said.
Cpl Anyuse shot four bullets at the victim as he moved to close the main gate, within two intervals killing him instantly.
” As he got away, on a waiting motorcycle, he called Nalwoga Brenda and informed her how they had accomplished the mission,” police said.
