MBARARA: Former Mbarara Archbishop Paul Bakyenga has gone to be with the Lord.
This was announced by the Uganda Episcopal Conference on Tuesday.
“Uganda Episcopal Conference with deep sorrow announces the death of Most Rev Paul Bakyenga, Archbishop Emeritus of Mbarara,” the bishops announced.
He was appointed Archbishop in 1999 by Pope John Paul II.
