BUKEDEA: Hundreds of people, including politicians, religious and cultural leaders who turned up for the thanksgiving ceremony at Speaker Anita Among’s country home in Bukedea were left speechless after seeing her multi-billion shillings mansion.
For months, the Bukea Woman MP has been preparing the thanksgiving event to thank God for the journey thus far walked in her favour, having climbed to the apex of Parliament in just a short time.
In the warm-up to the big event, Among hosted her voters to a sumptuous dinner before interacting with constituents and showing off her farm to which President Yoweri Museveni earlier contributed 100 heads of cattle.
On the D-day, dignitaries, including former VP and Speaker Edward Ssekandi, together with more than 300 MPs and other guests thronged Among’s posh home.
Among and hubby Moses Magogo posed to take endless photos with guests.
