MBARARA: Senior mobilisers of all the MK forces in Ankole Sub-region have today launched the MK Ankole Regional Baraza slated to take place on October 28 at Bwizibwera Playgrounds in Mbarara district.

According to Polly Katwire Karamuzi, one of the senior mobilisers for the MK Movement in Ankole, the function will include a number of activities such as tree planting, musical gala, cultural dances competition, and bulungi bwansi, among others.
He said the Baraza will be attended by MK supporters from 13 districts from Greater Mbarara and Greater Bushenyi.
“All CEC members of the MK Movement are expected to grace the occasion whose guest of honour will be Al Hajji Hassan Basajjabalaba.
“We shall meet to brainstorm on team building because the Generals fans are many and we hope to hear their contribution towards strengthening the MK Movement,” Karamuzi said.


Others who attended the presser included Mbarara district LC5 chairperson Mr Didas Tabaro; Mbarara District NRM chairperson, Herbert Kamugisha; Vice chairperson Mbarara district Juliet Nabakoza and other key figures.
Kamugisha said as NRM they receive and support the MK Movement because it will bring about transformation.
He also called upon the NRM supporters to give the necessary support to the MK Movement because, together with NRM they are aiming at one goal of transforming the country.
Tabaro encouraged the people to work together.
“I am happy that Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba united all the teams and they are happily working together,” Tabaro said.
He added that they welcome the upcoming event and will provide the necessary support to ensure it is a success.
