Police in Kabale are hunting for a 25 years suspect allegedly for murdering his 29 years old biological brother one Alexander Arimpisya both residents of upper Bugongi cell Northern division Kabale municipality /district.
It is alleged that on 31/03/2024 at about 08:00 hours, at upper Bugongi cell, Northern Division in Kabale Municipality, the suspect hit the deceased with a spade on the head and died instantly.
It’s further alleged that, the deceased on several occasions has had misunderstandings with his mother, and on the fateful day, he picked a spade which he wanted to hit his mother, and the suspect intervened and removed the spade from him and hit it on his head where he became unconscious and died instantly.
That the area vice chairperson Richard Mugabi upon getting the information, he notified Kabale police which responded to the scene.
According area Police Relations Officer ASP Elly Maate, a scene of crime was visited and documented,
relevant statements obtained and the body was retrieved and conveyed to Kabale Regional Referral hospital mortuary for postmortem.
Suspect on the run but everything possible is being done by the police for him to be apprehended and brought to book.
