The government has named leading car bonds behind the employment of illegal aliens following an operation in which more than 80 mainly Pakistanis and Indians were arrested.

The Internal Affairs Ministry spokesperson, Simon Mundeyi, revealed that Future Group, Chatha Motors, Jumbo Motors and Lakhani were some of the leading car dealers who employ workers without permits.

“Our enforcement team has arrested 38 irregular immigrants. They were found working without permits in car bonds in Nakawa, Banda and Kyambogo,” the official revealed last Friday.

“The arrested individuals include Indians, Pakistanis, Eritreans and Bangladeshis,” he added.
