SOME wise man once wrote that , ” if to do was as easy as knowing what were good to do then chapels would be churches..” . Now one wonders if any of us rethink our actions before we put them forth.
And such rhymes well with most happenings which have carried this week in this banana republic.
From the collapsing Kiteezi landfill claiming over thirty innocent lives and accompanying destruction , the Villa sports club hiking of it’s games entry tickets to well over UG Shs 50,000/, court pronouncing it’s self on Mpugalism and of course the passing on of an outspoken political commentator Joseph Tamale Mirundi.
Dissenting , fans at least a good number start to query such a ticket hike ! But with everything now hiked how does a sports club especially whose main income is expected from gate collection fare?
Musical entertainments are charging millions a table of late with a single ticket going well over three hundred thousand, isn’t football not entertainment enough?
Patrons will have to educate us especially if they can give value for money!
When the icon dies, haters start celebrate as if their day isn’t coming and start blaming the dead Mirundi for his errant .
Yes he could , he went overboard attacking every one but judging others ought to be a domain of God , the earliest we let past pass the quicker to freedom of mind.
As Mpugalism start getting diluted following court judgement , a mix of drumming and chanting down the cause takes toll.
But when will some minds get wisdom? Walking In darker ness till when?
Similarly the dying lives of Kiteezi leaves questions especially when the government resorts to fire fighting every time
.
How I wish it had acted before?. For at least the Lord mayor did his part.
