HOW TABULA EMPLOYED GUERILLA CAMOUFLAGE TO PREVENT ARREST
This Media and security analyst have found out that Tabula Employed the guerilla tactics of camouflage to elude security all along.
At some moments immediately after realizing that the plot had unraveled, Tabula covered his head with a helmet, jumped on a bodaboda and fled his home in Mpigi.
The helmet cover helped him pass unnoticed even to those who knew him and rode all the way to Katosi near the landing site.
It’s believed this trick helped him for several days especially during day time when he was not indoors.
Meanwhile security was not seated and his Katosi hide out was soon uncovered but by the time security forces went to Katosi, Tabula had already fled most believably under helmet cover.
It’s highly suspected ,that when he was not under helmet, he dressed in rags more less a mad person to distract any possible attention from those who encountered him
He equally carried dirty polythene smelling bags to create a total impression of a disturbed man .
To this he employed another trick of being highly mobile like a rebel so that whenever his where outs were bursted, security would find him gone.
That’s why from Katosi hiding , he quickly sought refuge on Kimi Island on Lake Victoria in Mukono District, where he stayed briefly, monitoring the situation.
However, security forces were once again tipped off about his location and laid a trap to arrest him. Unfortunately, by the time they reached the island, Tabula had moved on to another island called Bukasa .
It’s alleged Tabula owned shrines on all those islands just as he owned them in Mpigi.
Through his use of helmet, rugs and high mobility, moved between Bwojja Hills in Katosi , Kimi Island, Bukasa island t took them longer to locate him after he fled to Bukasa Island and Mpigi among other places.
He equally switched residence. He mostly lived amongst close friends or relatives whom he must have convinced that he was innocent.
Many a time security would learn of his brief stay for it’s believed he kept a secret phone number he used which unknown to him was known to security.
Any where he visited security eventuy visited and quizzed but kept it’s cool for purposes of hitting the jackpot, Tabula like they eventually did.
In Namulonge for example where he was finally arrested from , he had probably been there secretly before.
A local source around Namulonge told Media yesterday that security had time ago quizzed and searched the owner of the house in which Tabula was hiding .
However during that time Tabula was not in the house.
It’s believed he could have been there before or he could have used his secret phone to call the owner and security bursted this up.
During his capture on Monday, he had just stayed there for about two days.
It’s alleged he was in Mpigi for a whole week before his arrest.
In Mpigi he avoided his own compound where security uncovered many dead bodies recently.
He flee Mpigi once more maintaining his usual mobility and returned to Kibanga-Namulonge at a place locally named “Kimerika” where his luck finally ran out, and he was arrested.
Local folks told journalist that Tabula came to their place Sunday evening and was overheard talking to the home owner whom he requested to host him for a night.
The owner accepted to this and asked Tabula to tell the owners wife to serve him supper.
A neighbor who witnessed all this said Tabula helped him self to three plates of the meal indicating he must have been very hungry.
He equally looked spent , thin and very dirty with a smelling polythene bag.
When morning came , Tabula went away quietly and returned in the evening.
He again sought the permission of the owner on phone for another night and even wondered if the owner was coming home to which the owner answered in the afirmative.
Meanwhile highly reliable sources indicate that all along security forces were playing the area highly anticipating Tabula’s being in the area.
As Tabula got restless waiting for the home owner and trying to borrow a neighbors phone set to call the owner, Brig Ddamulira’s nonsense boys struck, surrounded the house and arrested the elusive Tabula amidst gunshots which ending his wits.
