THE old boys and girls of the defunct St Francis SSS Mengo who live together under their alumni group have energized their association by electing new leadership.

The group which boasts of membership scaling to over one hundred scattered all over the world and in various departments has continued to unit former school mates.

During their annual general meeting on Saturday at Twin Towers Hotel Makerere Kavule, the group elected new leaders following the expiry of former chairman, Mr John Matovu’s governance.

The new leadership of St Francis SSS Mengo Alumni
Is now headed by Kawempe based politician and social mobilizer Mr Sserumaga Mungi Bimugwana and deputised by Mrs Hon Hope Mutesi.
Others include seasoned journalist Mr Angelo Lubowa ( General secretary) Mrs Mary Mirembe, ( Deputy secretary), seasoned journalist Meddie Musisi as publicity secretary while
Nalongo Naggayi and
Hajji Musa Senabulya scooped the portfolio of treasurer respectively.

Others on the committee are Sudan based social worker Dr Kato, business woman Sandra Namwanje , Ruth Mutete, Uganda virus research officer David Mutebi
and city Lawyer Kibuuka Butika the legal advisor.
