KCCA Gets Tentative Executive Director In The Person Of Lawyer Nyakaan

KAMPALA
The Minister for Kampala,Hajjat Miisa Kabanda has appointed the legal director at Kampala Capital City Authority in acting capacity as Executive Director.
Counsel Frank Nyakaana Rusa’s appointment follows the dismissal of Dorothy Kisaka, former ED, Engineer David Luyimbazi – Deputy Executive Director and Dr. Daniel Okello -Director of Public Health by President Museveni on Tuesday, 24th September, 2024.
Mr Nyakaana will now act until the Public Service Commission advertises and fills the three vacant positions within three months as directed by President Museveni while sacking city bosses.
The president had tasked the Minister for Kampala with advising him on interim appointments for the three crucial positions to ensure that operations within KCCA continue without disruption until permanent replacements are in place.
Meanwhile, Nowera Robert who has been director revenue collection has been appointed as Acting Deputy Executive Director, while Sarah Zalwango Karen who has been Dr Daniel Okello “s deputy will serve as Acting Director of Public Health.
