In fact it was fire Saturday morning as Mr Lubega Mukaaku faced off with his principle accuser Mr Vincent Mayanja on CBS “parliament yammwe” program.

Alex Nsubuga who hosted the two plus NRM’s Hon Mpindi Bumaali got a tough time as Mukaaku accused him of siding with Mayanja.

The face off is the last min climax of the accusations where some members of DP block accuse Mukaaku, Hon Micheal Mabikke and former councillor Lubowa of pocketing over 3 Billion on behalf of DP block.

However Mayanja said they will not allow such money to divert DP block and defended the suspension letters he authored suspending the three suspects.

Speaking authoritatively from Kabaka’s CBS, Mayanja alleged that, ” the person who took the three to president Museveni is the same person who gave us information after they cheated him of his 200m because they gave him 200m insteat of the agreed 400m”.

He said they had initially asked for about 18 billions but president reduced it to eight billions serving them 3.7 billions at the start.

He added that money was escorted to Hon Mabikke’s home in Makindye.

He however left listeners confused when at the same time he said that the three shared the loot from a banking hall in Makerere university.

This was after Mukaaku has rubbished Mayanja”s stories as empty lies.

Mukaaku said that while the Mayanjas accused him of buying a 35 million car , land in Kayabwe and renovating his father’s house in Butambala they ought to forget that he has running projects with Europeans and that he once funded his own presidential campaign.

” My wife has a good job in Germany, my daughter married a white man, can’t I buy such a vehicle? As for the land , I haven’t bought any ,don’t entertain lies”.

He added,” the Mayanjas are coming up with stories to ambush our last political announcement of fronting Hon Mpuuga as a presidential candidate . Some one is playing games with them.”

But Mayanja insisted they were auditing theife style of Mukaaku and group and it was proving very different from their usual ways suggesting money changed hands and asked them to return it and seek forgiveness.

As the debate got hotter Mukaaku accused Mayanja of being a double agent who many atime has dined with the regime causing some opposition arrests of many including Mukaaku him self.

He accused him.of licking minister Nobert Mao whom he said was funding Mayanjas late university education where he was choking on retakes.

Mean while Hon Mpindi advised opposition to learn how to contain their dirty and get stronger or else they were looking meaningless before supporters.

Mayanja insisted they are still investigating as Mukaaku belittled Mayanja that being not any active member of DP block his attempts were as good as a former catechist trying to sack a bishop.

Initially both Lubowa and Mabikke had joined Mukaaku to claim that whatever Mayanja and group were saying was trash and rallied DP block members to stick to cause.

The CBS callers seemed to be bashing Mukaaku.
