Tension As S.4 UNEB Exams leak in Mityana, Two Arreste

KAMPALA
POLICE in Mityana has arrested two teachers on allegations of being found with UNEB examinations which are currently underway.
The arrested include Mr Onyoto Thomas and Mr Livingstone Kambugu Male both teachers of Bujubi S.S in Mityana district.
Their arrest followed a UNEB scout who found them with a chemistry practical paper and answer to a chemistry paper which was about to be sat by the candidates.
According to police spokesperson in this region, Roacheal Kawala it’s alleged that they were trying to coach some of the students of Bujubi SS in Maanyi sub county to the leaked exam which is against the law.
Kawala said that the two are being detained at Mityana Central Police station as investigations continue.
UNEB has been vigilantly warning against exams malpractices and has employed scouts and security agents to guard against the vice.
