Two women arrested over murder of a 50 year old man

Police in Rubanda are having two women suspects in custody for questioning on the alleged murder of a 50 years old Nicholas Tumuheise aka Kubirabe a resident of Kakangaga village Kaara parish Muko sub county Rubanda district.

The suspects are;
1.Twinamasiko Jackline 28 yrs, a resident of Rwakamu village, Kaara parish Muko sub county Rubanda district and,

2.Kemigisha Robina 38 yrs a resident of the same address.

It is alleged that on the 10/10/2024 during morning hours, the deceased who was staying alone in the house with the son being the immediate neighbour, left home heading for burial and did not go back.
That the son didn’t mind as most of the time the father goes back home late.

It’s further alleged that, he had been sighted in Keneema Feredius’s bar with his woman friend Twinamasiko Jackline drinking together chief waragi at around 20:00hrs in the company of Kemigisha Robina where by at around 21:00hrs they all moved outside following each other.

Unfortunately, on the morning of (11/10/2024) at around 0730hrs, the deceased was found dead lying along the way to his home and blood oozing from the ears and the mouth.

The locals mounted a search of Jackline the woman friend at her home and she was not found there, only to find out that she slept at the home of Kemigisha Robina for reasons yet to be established.

Police was informed by the defense secretary of Katete village Kemerwa Medard, the scene was visited and documented, and the two ladies/suspects were rescued from mob which intended to kill them and whisked away to Muko police station.

Postmortem was done and body handed over to the relatives for burial.

Asp Elly Maate the police spokesperson in Kigezi area said Inquiries are at hand.
