UNICEF Donates Tents to UMSC Early Childhood Development Centers

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has donated tents to top-performing Early Childhood Development Centers (ECDCs) under the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council (UMSC), following the guidelines of their joint cooperation agreement. This initiative, part of UNICEF’s Strategic Plan Pillar B, specifically benefits ECDCs in designated districts, especially those hosting refugee populations.
The tents were received by Muslim District Secretaries of Education, alongside National Program Coordinator Haj Muhmood Kateregga Namuguzi Sebuganda and his technical team, at the UMSC Project Offices in Old Kampala.
On behalf of His Eminence Dr. Sheikh Shaban Ramadhan Mubaje, the Mufti of Uganda, Haj Kateregga expressed gratitude to UNICEF and pledged the tents would be utilized effectively.
