TERRIBLE; Nyanjura’s Brother Shot Dead In Ntinda

SECURITY and police are out hunting armed assailants who shot dead the brother of Kampala Deputy Lord Mayor Doreen Nyanjura.
The incident happened Thursday 21,2024 late evening in Ntinda, a Kampala suburb when unknown gunmen attacked him.
Ms Nyanjura said Albert Cook Tugume, who operated a mobile money shop, was shot dead by in what appears to have been armed robbery .
The tragic incident occurred near Fraine Supermarket in Ntinda-Kigoowa.
The assailants fled with an unspecified amount of money.
Ms Nyanjura first posted on X, formerly Twitter, that Tugume had been abducted at gunpoint.
At 8.57pm, she broke the tragic news his brother had been shot dead.
By press time police was still gathering information as the hunt for the killers continue.
