Minister Balaam, Brig Gen Isoke Agree On Youth Mobilisation

KAMPALA
THE Minister of State for Gender, Labour, and Social Development, in charge of Children and Youth Affairs, Hon Balaam Ateenyi has vowed to ensure the youth get the desired mentorship and mobilisation.

This was at a courtesy call he paid to the Head Of State House Anti Corruption Unit,
, Brig Gen Henry Isoke Friday 22,2024.

The two discussed issues of national interest, including mentoring the youth and mobilising them to be good cadres that contribute to the social-economic transformation of the country.

They said the youth should also be at the forefront in the war against corruption.

According to Brig Gen Isoke”s press aide , Key to their discussion was the resolve leaders to deal with impunity and corruption that manifests in defrauding investors, persistent land grabbing, abuse of office, among others.

The General, thanked Hon. Balaam for his illustrious work in promoting Child and Youth programmes in the country.

Brig Gen Isoke affirmed SHACU’s commitment to the fight against corruption with swift response to complaints on graft by the wananchi.
