Ministry Of Lands Official Charged, Convicted Over Multiple Offences

The accident occurred along the Kayunga-Njeru road towards 6 pm in Wakisi village, Njeru Municipality, Buikwe District.

The Ssezibwa region
police spokesperson, Hellen Butoto, t said the accident involved a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado (registration number UG 2372M) driven by Kayongo Fred, a Mukono resident.

It’s alleged that a front tyre burst caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle, which veered off the road and crashed into an electric pole. The former vice president was in the company of her grandson, Igapira Louis Wandira who also sustained injuries and also admitted in Jinja Hospital.
