Arsenal Fan Killed In Lukaya

LUKAYA
POLICE in Kalungu district is looking for an askari Richard Okecho who allegedly shot dead an Arsenal fan Wednesday 4,2024 night.
The incident happened in Lukaya after Arsenal FC beat Man U in the European premier league match.
According to eye witnesses, John Ssenyonjo 28, was shot dead as he and other Arsenal supporters celebrated forcing the venue owners to switch off power to restore order.
The fans who were about 60 had been watching the match from Uganda cares place of betting and entertainment in Lukaya township.
Police focal person in Masaka, Twaha Kasirye told media that the suspect who took off immediately is on the run and being sought for to face his charges.
