Lets Empower The Youths To Fight Corruption _ Mr Ngolebe

THE presidential special advisor_Litigation Mr Amos Ngolobe has appreciated the creativity of the youths in efforts to fight corruption.

In his remarks , Mr Ngolobe appreciated the young people for exhibiting energy, passion and ideas as they debated.

He added that their actions today, are a testament to the potential of youth to lead the fight against corruption.

He was among the speakers at the Uganda national schools Speech and debate champions League Friday 6,2025/4 held at office of the prime minister conference hall.

He thanked Mr. Gasta Kakaire and his team for creating opportunities for the young people adding that such debates remind us that empowered youth are a formidable force against corruption, if given access to education and platforms for advocacy.

He added that a unified, informed and vocal society can dismantle even, the most entrenched system of corruption.

He thanked the Deputy IGG, Dr Patricia Achan Okiria and representatives of the Anti-Corruption Agencies and committed that they will continue to work and support each other to provide platforms for young people to engage on issues corruption.

The deputy IGG Dr Okiria who was the Chief guest thanked the young people in engaging in such platforms reminding them that every argument and rebattle gives fresh perspective and raises our consciousness about the critical issues that affects us as a nation.
Saying the youth are among the vulnerable to the evil of corruption and such efforts prepares them to take future responsibilities.

Initially she thanked the event organizers for coming up with such brilliant ideas to fight corruption.

The function was attended by all agencies which fight corruption in the country among others .
