VATICAN
THE Mercedes Benz has gifted the Pope Francis with a custom electric G_ class Pope mobile for the jubilee of 2025.
This marked a milestone in the Vatican’s transition to zero emission vehicles by 2030.
The wonder Benz was developed over a year by teams from both Mercedes and the Vatican.
The vehicle features a rotating seat, handcrafted interiors and a retractable roof all tailored to meet the Pope’s needs.
Continuing a century long tradition, the new Pope mobile combines sustainability and innovation while preserving the classic white design and symbolic SCV 1 license plate.
