UMSC Mourns Haj Abdu-Wahab Rugasa

The mufti of Uganda Dr. Sheikh Shaban Ramadhan Mubaje, and the entire UMSC fraternity, are mourning the passing of Haj Abdu-Wahab Rugasa, who passed away this morning Thursday, December 19, 2024. In a condolence message issued this morning, Mufti Mubaje praised the late Haj Rugasa as a dedicated servant who contributed tirelessly to the development of the UMSC from 1987 until his retirement two years ago. Mufti Mubaje honored Haj Rugasa for his steadfast support of the UMSC.
Mufti Mubaje also offered prayers for the departed soul of Haj Rugasa, asking Almighty Allah to accept his soul with grace, forgiveness, and mercy. He prayed for Allah to grant his family patience, courage, and unity as they grieve his passing.
According to family members,burial arrangements will be announced after consultations with UMSC.
