Lukwago Warns Incoming E.D Buzeki _ Your Seat Is Hot

KAMPALA
KAMPALA Lord mayor , Hajj Erias Lukwago has warned the incoming new executive director, Hajjat Sharifah Buzeki that the seat she is coming to occupy is very hot.
Lukwago said that you if Buzeki comes to fulfill president Yoweri Museveni’s political agenda in Kampala, she will go like her predecessors.
” We are still researching on Hajjat Buzeki and his deputy Benon Kigenyi. If Buzeki is willing to work with the political leaders of Kampala, she will serve but if she comes to play president Museveni’s politics hoping to claim Kampala from opposition hands she is in for it. That seat is very hot that’s why Jennifer Musisi finally resigned, and Dorothy Kisaka is in court.” Said Lukwago.
The Lord mayor was on a brief interview on CBS FM , Friday morning.
He said Museveni who lost miserably in Kampala thinks that the ED office plus Kampala ministers can help him which is never the case.
He said Kampala’ people want good services and non selective treatment on taxes and other essentials but most EDs chase around the poor, bodaboda riders, slam dwellers, taxi drivers and leave alone the well to do which he will leave to fight.
He said Buzeki is coming to find an already slashed budget of Kampala wondering how she will execute her work.
President Museveni appointed Hajjat Buzeki and Mr Kigenyi to the office of executive director and deputy executive director respectively which fellow vaccant after the sacking of Kisaka and her deputy Eng. David Luyimbazi following the fatal collapse of Kiteezi land fill mid this year.
