In a strong worded statement, Semambo’s group pointed out nine issues trashing justice Douglas Karekona Singiza’s ruling urging Mubajje and their group to resolve their differences through arbitration.

They insist Sheikh Mubajje was toppled by a special council sitting in Gangu after outliving his term of office among others issues.

The statement came to find sheikh Mubajje
filled with joy following the High Court’s annulment of previous rulings regarding the governance of the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council (UMSC) and it may have cut such Jubilations short.

The court’s had directed all parties to resolve their disputes through arbitration, as stipulated in the UMSC constitution, which represented a significant victory for both him and the council.

Mufti Mubaje expressed that he had entrusted all matters to Allah, seeking divine guidance for the judges involved in the case. He noted that it was through his patience and faith in Allah’s plan.

But sheikh Semambo’s statement dismissed the alleged judgement saying “we reject the above mentioned ruling with all its components”.

They said that Singiza lacked jurisdiction to handle
the matter, blundering when he succumbed to the plot by Kabega Musa
and Muhammad Ali Aluma to grab UMSC,
giving the ruling on a wrong date, biasness and basing on the illegitimate letter by
the former Mufti Sheikh Shaban Mubajje among others including the lack of trusted arbitration process it talks about.
