How IGP Abbas Byakagaba Moved Police Chiefs

KAMPALA
The Inspector General of Police , Mr Abbas Byakagaba has mada a series of transfers and appointments as part of strategic changes aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness and strengthening leadership.
In the changes, AIGP Musana Geoffrey, was transferred from the Directorate of Welfare, Production & Sports to serve as Police Attaché at the Ugandan Embassy in South Sudan.
SCP Sakira Moses was reassigned from the Ugandan Embassy in South Sudan to the Directorate of Research & Planning, where he will serve as Deputy Director.
SCP Halango Timothy, was moved from the Directorate of Research & Planning to the Directorate of Welfare, Production & Sports as Deputy Director.
CP Mubangizi Ben was appointed as police attaché at the Ugandan Embassy in Algeria, while CP Ssehambulidde Charles was transitioned from agriculture police to the Directorate of Logistics & Engineering as acting deputy director for classified stores.
CP Acaye Philip took over as commandant in Agricultural police transferring from the directorate of Traffic and Road safety to which ACP Norman Musinga was appointed as Ag Deputy Director. He was serving as RPC Busoga East.
