The State House Anti corruption unit working with Uganda police and the office of the DPP yesterday Tuesday 4, March 2025 arraigned Ssegujja Hassan, a medical doctor before the Buganda Road Chief Magistrates Court on charges of forgery and conspiracy to commit a felony.
He was remanded until 17/03/2025 after he denied the charges.
Court heard that the accused allegedly assisted Balondemu David, the Chairperson of the Kampala City Land Board and a lawyer, in fraudulently forging medical documents to support his bail application in an ongoing court matter involving, allegations of obtaining over UGX 2.2 billion by false pretenses and conspiracy to defraud an American company, KG Unlimited LLC.
This followed the arrest and charging of Mr Balondemu and others on the similar Charges and they are still facing the law.
