On such a wonderful day, I wish to take this opportunity to congratulate all women world over for making it to this women’s day. In a very special way, I take the same opportunity to wish the only special woman in my life Dr. Olive Enid Nabiryo I wish you the best mama.
Let me also take the opportunity to give some kind of advice to all parents and children in the world. Since this year began, a number of students allegedly to have committed suicide have been reported from various schools.
I believe the major cause of this could be lack of cordial relationship between a parent and a child.
Some parents think that giving money and other material things is only enough to his or her child. For sure it’s not.
Parents need to create time for their children especially during holidays. On this note, I thank my mother for always sparing time for us, whenever we get our holidays. At times she even asks for untimely leave at her work place purposely to be with us. Before going back to school,she spends time talking to us one on one so that she can know our personal needs and secrets. I thank mother for that. I remain Amber Grace Birungi.
