The PLU promoters and officials have called upon the general public to attend the Gen Muhoozi 51st birthday run tomorrow Sunday at Lololol ceremonial ground.

Gen Muhoozi holds birth day run on every 13 April to celebrate another year.

Flagging off will be at 7 am in the morning.

The run is always given a theme and this year’s run is for environment conservation and climate positive change.

Speaking from Kololo on Friday, the officials who included Frank Gashumba ( National vice Buganda), Jonh Bob Kakuru and Cedric Ndirima Babu ( national vice Kampala Extra) and others rallied the public to attend in big numbers.

Gashumba said the climate knows no politics so it affects us indiscriminately whether you are NUP, NRM or FDC.

He said the occasion will grace tree planting and the public are given a challenge of planting atleast ten trees when they can.

The speakers said other than the Kololo run other runs will be in different regions and abroad.

Speaker came from Tooro, Ankole, Bunyoro , Busoga and other places among them was Amina Mutesi Nalubega( Bugweri),Agaba Albert (KCCA), Rashid Ssekindi ( chairman Uganda taxi operators) and others.
