Julius Ahimbisibwe’s dead body was discovered with a rope around it in a septic tank over the weekend at his Nakitokolo home near Kyengera in Kyengera town Council.

According to neighbors, the former Jinja road police DPC was living a difficult life having attempted to kill his wife last year amidst domestic violence.

This resulted into his suspension and has been facing both disciplinary and criminal proceedings.

However Uganda police spokesman, Kituuma Rusoke confirmed that four people including Ahimbisibwe’s wife, a shamba boy, a neighbor and a defense secretary in the area have been arrested to act as first respondents.

He said police was not taking matters obviously as they looked with people concluding it was a matter of suicide until investigations confirmed that.
