The Uganda community in South Africa is mourning yet another Ugandan who was gunned down under unclear circumstances.

Ssalongo Vincent Ssali who resided in Tembisa was a few days ago shot in the head and chest in Pretoria en route to meeting his friend who had called him over for a hot deal.

It’s alleged that Ssali was going to buy a house in Pretoria environs courtesy of his friends advice when he met thugs who shot him .

Ssali was fatally wounded and rushed to Pretoria Hospital where he died from.

As his friend waited for him news of his being shot along the way reached him and followed him up only to find him dead.

His death brings to the number of Ugandans shot in recent days to three people.

According to Mr Ali Ssekamate the chairman of Uganda community in South Africa, the loss of members is too much and they are worried for their living.

Gun violence and murders is rife in South Africa amidst deals and high crime rates putting the lives of people at high risk.

By press time the Ugandan community was raising money to clear the hospital bills and also transport ssalis remains to his hometown of Kyazanga, Masaka for burrials.
