The head of State House Anti corruption unit (SH_ACU),
Brig Gen Henry Isoke, delivered a lecture to senior police officers from Criminal Investigations, Professional Service, and Canine Units at the Uganda Police Training Facility in Kikandwa, on their role in the fight against corruption.

This was on Monday morning, 12,05,2025 and in his presentation, he emphasized that police investigators are the foundation of public safety and justice, adding that any form of corruption within their ranks undermines the very essence of law enforcement.

He encouraged the officers to be committed to their work, embody integrity, and serve above self in order to improve the image of the Police force.

Gen Isoke also echoed H.E the President’s consistent call for integrity among public servants, including the Police, emphasising the core ideology of the four NRM principles: Patriotism, Pan-Africanism, social-economic transformation, and democracy.

Brig. Isoke also lauded the firm stance by the CDF, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, in stamping out corruption in the military, which makes UPDF a dependable force in the region.

The Head SHACU appreciated the IGP and Director CID for organizing such programs that assist in the ideological grounding of the officers.

Gen Isoke concluded by urging detectives to be role models in the fight against corruption, because Criminal Investigators are pillars upon which the country rests. If we are clean, corruption can easily be defeated.
He called for continued collaboration between SH-ACU and the police, advocating for synergized teamwork among all anti-corruption agencies for the greater national good.

He was accompanied by D/SSP Fred Lumala, Head of Investigations at the Unit.
At the training facility, he was received by the Commandant, ACP Doka Ramadan
