Hajj Abdallah Kitatta the outgoing NRM chairman for Lubaga division and leader of defunct Bodaboda 2010 is disturbed after the government withdrew his security details.
Kitatta who was released from Luzira prison over various crimes allegedly committed when he was leading Bodaboda 2010 and close to former IGP Gen Kale Kayihura has been moving around with high security.
He has been having atleast two commandos the likes of SFC or VVIP protection unit in his car while about more four commandos guarded his homes.
But following his loss at the recent NRM party elections where he lost in Lubaga south A which automatically paved way for his loss at Lubaga division level, the security has allegedly been removed.
” He is now so distressed. These guards were given to him as an NRM boss who needed security given his past. Now they have been taken as if Kitatta the person is no longer under any threat” said a source who is close to him.
He said Kitatta is now very exposed without security and any person who demands him even a neddle can easily reach him to demand.
Efforts to talk to Kitatta himself were futile.
