Nsiima dressing in a white shirt and black trousers and mask appeared calm and composed.

He was arrested over the weekend after his footages while slapping a female attendant went viral.

His charges were read out by the prosecutor and he denied them before the chief magistrate, Nicholas Aisu who remanded him until October 16, 2025, pending a court ruling on his bail application.

Court heard that Nsiima while at Shell Kyanja supermarket slapped miss Pellan Atuhumurize and threatened violence.

However Nsiima’s lawyer, Hamaza Kyamanywa, had sought for bail, citing ongoing reconciliations between Nsiima and the victim, Atuhumurize

Nsiima is a senior officer attached to the Counter Terrorism Directorate’s Oil and Gas Protection Unit of the police force.

He had reportedly parked and bought items amounting to shs 31,000 which he didn’t pay promptly forcing the victim to ran towards him as he drove away.

This didn’t go well with the officer who jumped out, slapped her twice before settling the bill.
